Emily's clinical approach draws from narrative, mindfulness-based, and acceptance and commitment theories, with an emphasis on empowering clients to experience renewed confidence in their strengths and uncover the wisest and most nurturing parts of themselves. Emily deeply believes in the importance of a trustworthy and genuine client-therapist relationship and strives to create a welcoming and safe space for everyone she serves.

Be like the bird that, passing on her flight awhile on boughs too slight, feels them give way beneath her, and yet sings, knowing that she hath wings
— Victor Hugo

A few words from Emily:

"Are you feeling stuck in a cycle of shame, fear, or anxiety that's preventing you from living the life you intended? Imagine if you could release yourself from the old patterns that no longer serve you. What would your new storyline look like?

I enjoy working with young female professionals to help them get in touch with their inner selves by enabling them to better understand their overlooked needs and live in harmony with their cherished values. Together we'll explore coping skills that promote your self-awareness, autonomy, and mental flexibility so you can learn to flourish in the face of life's hardships.

It's incredibly rewarding to witness the growth that takes place as clients begin to shed their notions of inadequacy and powerlessness and engage in alternative ways with the world around them. I hope to be a part of your personal transformation as you begin to revise your narrative and make meaningful changes to live with greater ease."

About Emily:
