Therapy is a time and place where we can slow down and take a closer look at the obstacles and difficulties we face in our lives. I strive to create an environment of safety, non-judgment and compassion in order to make room for uncomfortable or overwhelming emotions. I work holistically to help clients understand the sources of their suffering and integrate all aspects of their lives into a harmonious and balanced well-being.
During the therapeutic process, you'll discover things about you and your life that you didn't know before, experience your feelings beginning to change, and discover new possibilities and solutions. My style is gentle, warm, and non-judgmental. I provide therapy and counseling for individuals, couples, and families.
Clients have described me as a “REAL, genuine, observant, engaging, and compassionate counselor” with an ability to quickly put them at ease. Before going into private practice, I productively worked to reform and empower youth and adults to ask for more accountability in public education and within community based systems.
My therapy is focused on awareness of unproductive ways and systems of stress. I bring a mix of compassion, hope, and a clear therapeutic approach for helping clients on their own journeys.
