OPEN POSITIONS:

Fully Licensed Team Lead for Developing a Teen Focused Division

Full-Time Licensed Therapists (LCPC, LCSW-C, LMFT)

We are striving to find candidates who can connect meaningfully and culturally responsive with the teen population in our licensed area. We seek an individual for a leadership position overseeing a team of clinicians who will work predominantly with teens. The leadership role will be hiring and assembling the new team, creating training literature and policies, and collaborating with our SBCS leadership team and founder Susan Stork.

Once we have hired our team leader, we will seek to bring 3 to 4 clinicians working mainly with our teen clients.

Minimal Requirements:

  • Fully Licensed LCPC, LCSW-C, MFT

  • Experience supporting teens with anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, school-related issues, and other barriers.

Other Requirements, Roles & Responsibilities

  • Demonstrated ability to work as a team member.

  • Experience developing treatment plans with age-appropriate goals and measurable objectives based on the assessment.

  • Knowledgeable in writing progress notes and other required documentation to maintain client files.

  • Ability to work effectively and respectfully with a diverse population.

  • Proficient in computer use

  • Ability to write professionally.

  • Timely maintenance of clinical documentation under agency policies.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date calendars and client information using practice management software.

  • Meet regularly with supervisor(s) for consultation regarding clients’ cases and progress.

  • Provide each client with a complimentary consult, perform intake, assessment, treatment planning, ongoing therapy, and termination services.

  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments.

  • Develop treatment plans with age-appropriate goals and measurable objectives based on the client’s assessments.

  • Write progress notes and other required documentation to maintain client files under Space Between Counseling Services.

  • Participate in designated team building and all staff meetings, training, supervision, and Space Between Counseling Services special events during the day, periodically in the evenings, and the occasional weekend retreat.

  • Build strong relationships with your clients.

  • Provide a level of service that encourages clients to refer you to friends, family, co-workers, etc.

  • Develop your professional identity and share it with your colleagues and clients through active marketing efforts, bringing you a steady flow of referrals.

Full-Time & Part-Time Therapist Needed


Weekday clinicians:

Full-Time Licensed Therapists (ideally - LCPC + LMFT will consider LG’s if ideal fit)

We are currently seeking (4) NEW team members available to work on Weekdays - who would like to maintain a minimum caseload of 15-22 clients weekly.

Administrative assistant

Hiring for Summer 2024

This position would be ideal for a graduate student enrolled in an LMFT, Family Studies, Family Science, Marketing, or Business program interested in working in a private practice mental health setting. Please note: this is NOT a clinical position.

Duties include developing marketing materials, coordinating consultations, providing practice information, and office administrative tasks such as filing, organizing, and note-taking.
